Catastrophe theory:In mathematics, catastrophe theory is a branch of bifurcation theory in the study of dynamical systems; it is also a particular special case of more general singularity theory in geometry.Bifurcation theory studies and classifies phenomena characterized by sudden shifts in behavior arising from small changes in circumstances, analysing how the qualitative nature of equation solutions depends on the parameters that appear in the equation. This may lead to sudden and dramatic changes, for example the unpredictable timing and magnitude of a landslide.
就两句描述Eisenman突然开心搞出来的一个小破规划设计，要上至电影文学哲学，下至天文物理数学……不知道没有google, wikipedia时候有没有人研究理论。其实最开心的发现是这个困扰我许久的Catastrophe thoery其实好像是Micheal教Fernado砸开那堵墙的理论基础也。但是又跟Francis Bacon的画有啥关系呢？？
